Girls Football at Otley Town

We are proud to support girls' football! Our girls section is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of female players, welcoming girls from Under-6s onwards.

Whether your daughter is completely new to football or ready to take her game to the next level, there is a place for her in our football family! From our youngest players discovering their very first touches of the ball to our older teams developing their tactical skills and teamwork.

Our teams all play in the Harrogate and Craven Women & Girls Football League on a Saturday, with home games played at The Old Showground.

Our Story

Our girls’ teams were established in 2021, starting with just one squad (our current U11's). Driven by a passion to give local girls a dedicated space to play, our setup has grown year on year. Today, we proudly field 7 teams with over 80 girls participating, from our youngest Under-6s right through to our eldest Under-12s.

Our growth is powered by a dedicated, mixed team of male and female coaches who are passionate about developing the next generation of players. Together, they work to create a fun, inclusive, and empowering environment where girls can build their skills, grow in confidence, and form lifelong friendships.

From that first team in 2021 to the thriving community we have today, we celebrate every bit of progress our players make. As our oldest squads continue to grow and develop, our ultimate dream is to keep expanding year on year—laying the groundwork to eventually introduce our very first women’s team.
